Engaged Sweeper III
hello

i use "Recent software Changes" (http://%lansweeperserver%/report.aspx?det=changes&page=software) a lot
and i am wondering how "Recent software Changes" are detected, i guess its a registry compare

the reason i am asking is i have a software which is modified by another software on the HKCU\Software\%name% level which means user settings are modified programatically.

and i dont want to see those changes because its no de- or re-install.

is there a way to exclude such things?
and could you please let me know how "Recent software Changes" are detected

thank you
peter

Lansweeper software scanning recreates Add/Remove Programs, as explained in this knowledge base article. If there's a change in any of the Add/Remove Programs fields we scan (software name, version...), a change will be recorded by Lansweeper. A software removal is a change for instance, as is a change in software version.

History tracking cannot be customized, though you could exclude certain changes from your reports.
